At Fashion Du Scent, we value our customers and want you to be happy with your purchase. Because many of our products are handmade, slight variations in color, texture, pattern, and finish may naturally occur. This policy explains when refunds, returns, and exchanges may be available.
1. Eligibility for a Refund
You may request a refund if:
- You received a damaged, defective, or faulty item.
- You received the wrong product, size, color, or design compared with your order.
- Your order is missing an item that was included in your confirmed order.
- The item is significantly different from the product description or agreed custom specifications.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Items Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds may not be available for:
- Items that have been worn, washed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
- Items damaged through improper care or handling.
- Products purchased on sale or marked as final sale, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Custom-made or personalized products, unless they arrive damaged, defective, or substantially different from the approved specifications.
- Minor variations in handmade products, including differences in color, print placement, stitching, texture, or size that are consistent with handmade production.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide:
- Your order number.
- A description of the problem.
- Clear photos or videos showing the item and the issue.
- Photos of the packaging, if the package arrived damaged.
We will review your request and may offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances and product availability.
4. Change-of-Mind Refunds
For hygiene, handmade production, and inventory reasons, we generally do not accept refunds simply because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or no longer want the product.
If you contact us before your order has been shipped, we may be able to cancel the order at our discretion.
5. Custom-Made and Made-to-Order Products
Custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order products cannot normally be returned or refunded because they are created specifically for the customer.
However, if we made an error compared with the specifications you approved, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate solution.
6. Refund Process
Once your refund request has been approved:
- We will confirm the refund amount and method.
- Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method, where possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
- Shipping fees may be non-refundable unless the refund is due to an error on our part, a defective product, or an incorrect item.
7. Return Shipping
If the return is required because we sent the wrong item or the product arrived defective or damaged, Fashion Du Scent may cover reasonable return shipping costs.
For other approved returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Please do not send an item back without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.
8. Exchanges
Where possible, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund for eligible products.
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer a refund or store credit.
9. Order Cancellation
Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible after placing an order.
Once an order has been processed, customized, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.
